Discus Communications wins third European prize this year

Plantronics has selected Discus Communications as Best European Agency 2008. This is the third time in a year that Discus Communications is awarded by its clients and the second time Discus Communications is awarded for the initiative the Future Workplace.
It was at the annual PR Summit that headset-producer Plantronics awarded Discus Communications with the prize Best European Agency 2008. Discus Communications was chosen among seven other European PR agencies
The Future Workplace is an initiative by Discus Communications conducted in cooperation with the industry association, IT-Branchen. The initiative benefits the agency’s clients as well as any other it company, which is a member of IT-Branchen and would like to set the agenda for future ways of working

Earlier this year, Xerox Europe awarded Discus Communications the best European campaign – also for activities in relation to Future Workplace.
At Discus Communications, Managing Director Niels Christian Jensen is excited about the prize. “The Future Workplace is a great example of how we work with network communications. In cooperation with IT-Branchen we have created a forum, where technology businesses work together with scientists and opinion formers to develop the future workplace and to convey new knowledge to society. As for the companies involved in the initiative, the project has given them inspiration and an opportunity to share knowledge and ideas. We are pleased to be able to provide our clients with such a business advantage on the basis of communication activities.”
Plantronics and Discus Communications have worked together since 2004. In 2007 Plantronics awarded Discus Communications the Best European Special Campaign Award for a PR campaign on a study that established the e-mail culture and habits in European companies.
Discus Communications was presented with the Best European Agency 2008-award in London on May 22.
